Live Broadcast: How Far Into The Cloud Businesses Can Expect To Go, Global Trends & Futurist Thinking

Scott Jackisch, Principal at Globalize Networks, Writer And Futurist, Discusses How Far Into The Cloud Businesses Can Expect To Go And Global Megatrends

Scott Jackisch

Cloud Computing enables organizations to consolidate and share computing resources, eliminates on-site physical hardware, replaces on-site equipment with virtual, non-dedicated machines, unlocks information behind firewalls to enable improved transparency and engagement with end-users. Cloud computing is dramatically accelerating the shift from IT-based products to business-oriented services, however, not all applications and services are well suited to cloud solutions and the cloud does not always provide immediate ROI or lower expenses.

Scott Jackisch joined Cindy F. Solomon to broadcast live at Studio132 for the Global Product Management Talk on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
