About Andrés Cifuentes
Engineer in systems and computers engineering at los Andes University (1997) with an specialization in Software Development (2003) from the same university. In 2000 he founded Eforcers S.A., a company dedicated to developing solutions and Internet services that for 12 years has transformed businesses and organizations through innovative web solutions, injecting technology into their processes to increase productivity and competitiveness.
When Andres knew about Google Apps, he realized they were a suite of applications vital to transform the way the Colombian companies communicate and collaborate, thus he decided to initiate a process of evangelization that after six years has led to more than 450 companies and 500,000 users potentializing their daily work within their organizations, making them more productive and competitive.
He introduced in Colombia, as an Spigit partner, the concept of Open Innovation and Structured Crowdsourcing through which seeks to harness the collective intelligence of people to solve problems, generating ideas with a new model that applies to companies, communities, cities and government.
Believer of entrepreneurship as a mechanism to improve the situation of the country and the region, more than two years ago began his training at the Founder Institute, a program that seeks to support the efforts of new entrepreneurs in technology, as a result of this process he is now Partner and CTO of Thotz.co a technological tool that empowers the capacity of individuals to easily manage all his personal and corporate cloud information.
